You can’t seem to escape love when you are in Paris- it is everywhere you go. Le Mur des je t’aime is where love comes together in every single language. This little urban corner in a Parisian park definitely holds a lot of magic.

The idea itself is quite romantic, isn’t it? It reminds us that love knows no bounds, and that romance can of course manifest itself in so many different languages- something I’ve never really thought about before.

The wall has “I love you” written in 280 languages, so it was definitely a fun game to spot the ones we could recognise. With this comes a sense of welcome and acceptance- something which love is supposedly about.

If you find yourself around Montmartre, you should consider seeing it. Whilst small, it is still quite charming, without necessarily intending to be anything special.

I think this in particular is what I liked the most. The simplicity is what makes it such a cute space.

It’s nice to know that a manifestation of love doesn’t have to be something huge and outrageous- it can be as simple as a wall of “I love you”.
